Silver Carp

A carp species rarely found in open water in Western Europe. At Fish Fun Vrouwenpolder, this species of carp swims around in large numbers. They are real algae eaters. This also makes them good workers for the maintenance of our ponds. It is a unique fish to catch, but very difficult to seduce and usually a fluke.

The silver carp can reach a length of 120 centimetres and weigh up to 50 kilos, with us the largest is currently 3 kilos, released on 20-05-25.
