Work completed; peace has returned to the pond

Dear visitors,

Good news! The works on the site adjacent to Fish Fun Vrouwenpolder have now been completed.

This means that the noise and disruption caused by construction traffic are now a thing of the past. You can once again enjoy the peace and quiet, the natural surroundings and a relaxing day’s fishing by the pond without any disturbance.

We would like to thank everyone warmly for their understanding and patience during this period. We really appreciate it.

We warmly welcome you to Fish Fun Vrouwenpolder and look forward to seeing you by the water again!

Construction work

Dear visitors,

Work is currently taking place on the site adjacent to Fish Fun Vrouwenpolder. As a result, you may experience temporary noise or disruption during your visit, for example from construction traffic and the work itself.

The works take place from Monday to Friday. There will be no works over the Whitsun weekend (Sunday 24 and Monday 25 May).

We are doing everything we can to ensure your experience by the pond remains as pleasant as possible and are liaising closely with the parties involved. We will, of course, remain open and you are very welcome to come and fish and relax by the water.

We ask for your understanding and thank you in advance for your patience.

There it is! The first youth day at Fish Fun Vrouwenpolder will take place on Saturday 28 September from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. On this day, several aspects of angling will be taught: knots, unhooking, casting and photography. At the end of the day, each participant will receive a goodie bag and a chance to win angling equipment in a raffle. You can register via the website or by calling 06-41672594.

The first two metres on the embankment have been dug. The weather was with us for a while but when the first two metres were dug it started raining and lots of cold wind! But............ it's in, keep the security coming!!!
