Dear all,

What a rollercoaster of emotions these past few days...????

After Monday's terrible news, about the burglary, we have received so overwhelmingly many kind messages, messages of support and offers of help that we are really quiet....

We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion, sharing our message and all the support we have received, in one form or another.

Your words, actions and commitment have touched us tremendously and give us strength to carry on, especially now in the current period.

Although the grief is still fresh, we feel supported by an amazing community, of fishermen, friends and family. That is priceless.

We are working very hard to rebuild everything and, despite the setback, are doing everything we can to keep as many reservations going as possible.

Thanks to your support, we know for sure: we will come out of this stronger ????❤

As promised 3 months ago, another fish-release was due to arrive, after a long wait it has finally arrived.

The promised fish release, has a number of new fish species for our fish stock....

There it is! The first youth day at Fish Fun Vrouwenpolder will take place on Saturday 28 September from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. On this day, several aspects of angling will be taught: knots, unhooking, casting and photography. At the end of the day, each participant will receive a goodie bag and a chance to win angling equipment in a raffle. You can register via the website or by calling 06-41672594.

What would we be without proper housing and issuing point. From here everything will soon be issued, the rods, the bait.... But of course also THE place to be able to make a delicious cup of coffee and come and serve it at the fishpond!!!!

As soon as possible after hatching, the first sturgeons enter the pond. To avoid as much stress as possible, this was done the same evening in the freezing cold!

The first two metres on the embankment have been dug. The weather was with us for a while but when the first two metres were dug it started raining and lots of cold wind! But............ it's in, keep the security coming!!!
